Frequently Asked Questions:

  • You should receive your gallery within 3 weeks of our photoshoot session. Weddings/Events may take up 5 weeks.

  • I require a 50% retainer and signed contract for all bookings. I use Honeybook to manage clients, where you can make secure direct payments via bank transfer or credit card. I also accept payment via Venmo.

  • This is to ensure I keep that day blocked off for you! If you book a photoshoot, and then cancel, I could have booked someone else for that time slot.

  • My contract is very standard, and not difficult to read. It is not only to protect me, but you too! It promises that I will show up and do my job, and that you agree to make required payments. There are also points on usage, rescheduling, cancellations, all that good stuff. Please read the contract in entirety before signing so there are no surprises throughout the booking/photoshoot/delivery process.

  • Most of my clients are β€œnon models” and I pride myself in capturing people’s best selves, even if they don’t consider themselves to be β€œphotogenic.” I capture mostly candid, in-between, and natural moments, so our photoshoot will be just us hanging out, while I’m snapping pics 😊 I promise to do everything in my power to make you feel comfy in front of the lens!

  • If we’re planning an outdoor photoshoot and the weather is awful/i’m sick/act of the universe, we can reschedule, and your retainer will go towards a new date. However, if you don’t show up to your shoot with no warning, your deposit will not be refunded.

    If you need to reschedule for another reason, let me know before 14 days of your session, and we can pick a new date, no problem! After 14 days, a rescheduling fee will apply.

  • Absolutely! I encourage you to bring anyone along who will help you feel more comfortable.

  • No worries! If you give me details on what you’re looking for in your photos, I’m happy to help you choose a location that fits!

  • Depending on the location of your shoot, I charge a travel fee. I live in uptown Manhattan, so the closer it is to where I live, the less the fee will be. This is because I either have to take an Uber to carry all of my equipment, or spend a lot of time on a train, and leave extra time in case of delays. If your shoot is scheduled to wrap after 8pm (such as events or concerts) I will take an Uber and invoice you the receipt for reimbursement.

  • Email! I do all bookings and client communication via email. This helps me stay organized, and ensure that all the details on your photoshoot are in one place. When your shoot is in a couple days, I’ll send you my phone number, so we can text day of (for example, I’ll let you know when I arrive to the location.) After your shoot date, although you’ll have my number, please continue to communicate via email.

  • No, unless maybe if you’re willing to pay $10,000 for them.

  • I use PixieSet to deliver my client galleries, where you can order prints directly! Print prices are not included in my packages.

  • Nope, but don’t worry I’ll be sure to choose all of the photos where you look your best. And any photos I don’t choose are likely out of focus, you blinking or speaking, etc. I will send you all of the good pics, even if it’s more than listed in the package you chose!

  • My client photos are the sole way I market myself as a photographer. If you do not want your photos shared on any of my platforms, please let me know the reason in your initial inquiry. I do charge a fee if this is something you desire.

  • No, any of the images in your final gallery can be used on my platforms.

  • No. My prices are not only based on the time spent at our photoshoot, but also film costs, monthly subscriptions for editing and client management, tech fees (cameras, laptop, hard drives), the list of expenses is quite long. Therefore, I do not offer any discounts. However, if you are a recurring client, I often will add a discount to your invoice to say thanks for booking me again! ❀️
